Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Receiving Barn Attendant in Vinton, LA. The role focuses on keeping barns clean, organized, and welcoming for our horses, with daily deep cleans and proactive maintenance tasks.

The position requires physical endurance, tool-use skills, and reliable communication. This is a hands-on, facility-maintenance role with opportunities to contribute to a well-kept environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to walk, stand, lift, shovel, rake, reach, bend and twist throughout shift.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Daily Deep Cleans: tackle shed rows and stalls with enthusiasm each day, getting everything sparkling clean before our equine guests arrive.
• Rake & Shape: keep shed rows and stalls looking sharp and well-maintained with expert raking.
• Curb Appeal Champion: transform the receiving barn into a welcoming, presentable space that makes a great impression.
• Handy Problem-Solver: take on maintenance tasks like hanging gates, installing screw eyes, swapping out light bulbs, and tackling other barn projects that keep everything running smoothly.
