Job summary

UNFI is hiring for a full-time Warehouse Associate to verify and receive correct products using RF guns while following engineered work standards. Responsibilities include labeling, checking items, processing paperwork, coordinating order sequencing with the dock supervisor, and ensuring proper exchanges of merchandise to correct errors. Must be able to operate a forklift and obtain licensing.

Reading, writing and basic math are required. Warehouse/Operations experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and make simple math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Accounts for all pallet labels for each order.
• Checks all items to ensure correct description and quantity.
• Processes receiving paperwork.
• Coordinates the correct sequence or order, checking shortages and counting overflows with the dock supervisor.
• Ensures that all order selectors and forklift operators exchange merchandise sent in error.
