Job summary

Southwest Accessory Group (SWAG) in Glendale, AZ, is hiring for a Shipping Associate to receive and process all inventory for accurate put-away and daily inbound shipments. You'll work in a fully air-conditioned warehouse with a day shift and a path to growth within a growing organization.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and basic computer/RF scanner knowledge, with forklift experience or certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic computer/RF scanner knowledge is required.
• Ability to read numerals and English.
• NetSuite experience is a bonus.
• Operate equipment including sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift, cherry picker and deep reach truck.
• Forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and track inventory.
• Responsible for all daily inbound shipments with accuracy.
• Scan and verify order details in the WMS system.
• Put away all incoming inventory accurately.
• Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.

About the role

The receiving associate will receive and process all incoming inventory and materials to ensure proper inventory counts and proper put away processes.

What you'll do

• Receive and track inventory
• Responsible for all daily inbound shipments with accuracy
• Scan and verify order details in the WMS system
• Put away all incoming inventory accurately
• Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines
• Keep work areas clean and organized

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Prior warehouse experience a plus
• Basic computer/RF scanner knowledge
• Ability to read numerals and English
• Excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• NetSuite experience is a bonus
• Operate equipment (IE: sit-down forklift, stand-up Forklift, Cherry Picker, Deep Reach Truck)
• Forklift certification preferred

Physical Demands:

Standing, Walking, Reaching/Bending, Endurance, Balancing/Mobility, Manual Dexterity, Exposure to varying conditions, Repetitive Motion, Lifting to 50 lbs. consistently, safety equipment, loud noises: 8-hour work shift
