Gourmet Foods International in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced team. You will unload, receive, and put away inventory, operate RF scanners, and prepare orders for delivery in a cold-storage environment.

Job Overview

As a valued member of our dedicated warehouse team, you’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality, specialty food items to our customers. In this fast-paced and physically active environment, your day will be filled with tasks that keep our operation running smoothly and efficiently.

What does your day look like? Some of your duties may include:

• Unload, receive, and put away incoming inventory items.


• Operate an RF handheld device to scan, pull, and pack items to fulfill orders.


• View prompts on screens and follow directions for some tasks.


• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets for delivery.

Things you need to be able to do:

• Must be able to lift to 75 lbs. Carry up to 50 lbs. Push/Pull up to 30 lbs. of force.


• Must be able to be exposed to a refrigerated and freezer environment, ranging from 0 - 36 degrees Fahrenheit.


• Ascend and descend a step 10 in. high. From the floor.


• Excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions, meet deadlines, and be able to work under minimal supervision.


• Consistent, regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position. Employees must be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to support business and operational needs.


• Able to stand for long periods of time.


• Able to reach and bend.

Things that are a plus but not a deal-breaker:

• Previous warehouse and/or cold storage experience.


• RF handheld device experience.


• Pallet jack and forklift experience preferred.

M, T, Th, F 6am-3pm; W 5am-3pm

Candidates must be able to meet the position's scheduling requirements. Depending on the role and business needs, schedules may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime, and/or travel.
