Job summary

White Cap is seeking a Receiving Associate to join our on-site operations in the United States. You will receive and count stock, record data in company software, and ensure items are accurately packed and stored.

You will liaise with shipping vendors to resolve delivery issues and support purchasing to address shortages. The ideal candidate has up to two years of related experience; forklift experience and basic Spanish can be advantageous.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in receiving/warehouse environments.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, counts and stores items.
• Records receiving data using computer systems.
• Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items accurately.
• Identifies incorrect or short shipped items and notifies supervisor.
• Communicates with shipping vendors to resolve delivery issues.
• Delivers products to the designated area.
• Works with purchasing to track shortages for late deliveries.
• Files purchase orders correctly per policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

A Receiving Associate at White Cap…

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience operating a forklift.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.
