Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a Receiving Associate to receive, count, store, and document items in a busy on-site warehouse environment. The role involves using company software to record data, packing and labeling stock, and coordinating with shipping vendors to resolve issues.

Preferred qualifications include forklift experience, knowledge of Oracle software, Spanish language skills, and familiarity with construction/industrial products.

Qualifications

• Receives, counts and stores items as part of daily warehouse operations.
• Records receiving data using a computer and company software.
• Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items properly and accurately.
• Identifies incorrect or short shipped items and notifies supervisor.
• Communicates with shipping vendors to resolve delivery issues.

Responsibilities

• Delivers products, supplies and equipment to the correct designated area.
• Works closely with purchasing to track shortages for late/slow delivery.
• Files purchase orders correctly based on company policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
