Job summary

White Cap Supply Holdings, LLC. is hiring a Receiving Associate in Connecticut. You will receive, count, and store items, and enter data into our system. The role involves packing/unpacking, correcting discrepancies, and coordinating with purchasing to manage shortages. A 0-2 year background in receiving is typical.

The position is on-site with a schedule from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, and includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience with receiving and stores items in a warehouse.
• Ability to count and verify received goods.
• Experience using warehouse software or ERP systems, preferably Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Receives, counts and stores items.
• Records receiving data using computer and company software.
• Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items properly and accurately.
• Identifies incorrect or short shipped items and notifies supervisor.
• Delivers products to the correct designated area.
• Works with purchasing to track shortages for late/slow delivery.
• Files purchase orders correctly based on company policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Typically 0-2 years of experience.

A Receiving Associate at White Cap…

• Receives, counts and stores items.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 4 PM

• Prior experience operating a forklift.

• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.

• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
