Job summary

Shades of Light, LLC is seeking a warehouse associate to pick, pack, and ship supplies to customers accurately and on time. You will inspect received materials, initiate claims for damaged items, and maintain organized inventory across racks and bins.

The role requires ability to work with minimal supervision, strong communication, and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced environment. You will perform administrative tasks and uphold a safe, clean workspace while supporting returns

Qualifications

• One to two years related experience or equivalent.
• Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.

Responsibilities

• Picks, packs, and ships supplies and materials to internal and external customers in an accurate and timely manner.
• Initiate claims processes for any damaged or defected items.
• Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures.
• Collect and processes merchandise returned to the corporate center to be delivered to the Returns Department
• Perform required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned by management.

SUMMARY:Picks, packs, and ships supplies and materials to internal and external customers in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transports, sorts, and stocks materials.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform quality inspection tasks on all received materials and products such as:
  • Reviewing PO and Item Numbers to ensure accuracy
  • Checking for damages or defects by manually inspecting merchandise
  • Reviewing package slips to ensure accuracy
• Initiate claims processes for any damaged or defected items
• Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures.
• Collect and processes merchandise returned to the corporate center to be delivered to the Returns Department
• Perform required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned by management.
