You will support inventory processes, receive materials, and assist with local deliveries, collaborating with warehouse and production teams to keep operations smooth and safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in material handling and inventory control preferred.
• Prior shipping and receiving experience is required.

Responsabilités

• Receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming materials.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and control systems.
• Distributing materials to appropriate production departments.
• Preparing materials for shipment and assisting with outbound logistics.
• Operating pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
• Performing regular cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
• Assisting with local deliveries using company vehicles.
• Supporting a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

Job Title: Receiving Assistant Pay: $20/hr Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM Start Date: ASAP Looking for a steady daytime schedule and a meaningful role? Join a leading power solutions company in West Cumberland, ME, as a Receiving Assistant and be an essential part of their warehouse team. This full-time, first-shift position offers a chance to grow your skills in inventory management and logistics while making a positive impact every day. As a Receiving Assistant, you'll support inventory processes, manage incoming materials, and assist with local deliveries. You will work closely with the warehouse and production teams to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

• Receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming materials
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and control systems
• Distributing materials to appropriate production departments
• Preparing materials for shipment and assisting with outbound logistics
• Operating pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely
• Performing regular cycle counts and reporting discrepancies
• Assisting with local deliveries using company vehicles (Box truck)
• Supporting a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• MUST be comfortable driving box truck, locally (and have clean driving record)

What You’ll Bring

• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status (required)
• Prior experience in material handling, shipping & receiving, and inventory control (REQUIRED)
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
