Healthy Living is looking for a new Receiving and Facilities Manager to join the HL team!

The Receiving and Facilities Manager is responsible for the efficient and smooth daily operation of physical store systems and operation of the receiving department, ensuring that receiving procedures and the store is always at its best. This includes, but is not limited to, the functionality, performance and appearance of the facility, grounds and related equipment, daily custodial operations, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility and conducts regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety guidelines. Cleanliness, safety, hospitality and efficiency are their top priorities. Flexible scheduling is a must!
Job Type: Receiving and Facilities Manager
Schedule: Full-time hourly position, 40 hours/week including flexible availability
Location: 129 Market St., Williston VT
Rate: Starting at $27/hour, previous experience will be taken into consideration.
Education
DEGREE: High School diploma
Certifications or strong educational background in related field, preferred
Experience
At least 2 years working in one or more of the following related fields: facility/building maintenance, rough or finish carpentry, plumbing, heating, electrical, mechanical repair, landscaping, painting or other building trades.
Previous experience in account/contract supervision
Previous experience with supply ordering
Previous experience with receiving
Previous leadership experience, preferably in a management/supervisory role.
Responsibilities include custodial management, receiving and inventory control and staff leadership/management
Custodial Management
· Oversee daily custodial operations, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.
· Manage custodial vendor(s) performance and communication to meet organizational standards.
· Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety guidelines.
Receiving & Inventory Control
· Log every driver into daily receiving log
· Safely get product inside building
· Check all refrigerated product for appropriate temperatures and sell by dates
· Checks all invoices against actual delivered quantities and PO = Verify that the delivery contains the items (in correct quantities) that we ordered via PO
· Evaluate any shipping charges and apply them to the deliveries in Catapult as necessary
· Ensures that verified deliveries are committed to inventory
· Ensures items are delivered to appropriate departments
· Ensures all appropriate items (credits) are picked up by respective drivers
· Maintains organization of invoices, packing slips and other paperwork daily
Staff Leadership / Management
· Leads, coaches, trains, motivates and inspires all department staff
· Builds a team through mutual trust, respect and coordination
· Acts as a positive role model for all staff
· Facilitates operational knowledge with educational tools and opportunities
· Works with P&E to interview and hire staff
· Coordinates training for all new staff members
· Creates and oversees all staff schedules and ensures all staff are present for their shift

Full-time staff accrue 2 weeks PTO, 3 weeks after 1 year of service
Part-time staff accrue up to 56 hours of sick time a year

For full-time staff - 401(k): 100% vested from day one! Employer match: 100% match of the first 3% of the staff member’s contribution. 50% match on the staff member’s contribution above 3% and up to 5%.
