Job summary

Green Circle Growers, located in Oberlin, OH, is seeking a Cross Dock Crew member to support inbound and outbound shipments, preserve inventory accuracy, and optimize warehouse operations to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience required.
• Prior warehouse, cross-dock, logistics, or freight handling experience preferred.
• Basic computer literacy or ability to learn scanning and warehouse systems.
• Experience operating a tow motor and other material handling equipment.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays as required by business volume.
• Must be at 18 years old and able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

• Collaborate with drivers, dispatch, operations teams, and warehouse team members to ensure accurate and timely movement of freight.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area that meets OSHA and company safety standards.
• All other duties as assigned.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Cross Dock Crew is responsible for accurate handling of inbound and outbound shipments to support on-time delivery, maintain accurate inventory, ensure efficient production flow, and optimize warehouse operations.

• Load outbound trucks and trailers in the correct sequence to support efficient delivery, ensuring on time and in full (OTIF) goals are met
• Collaborate with drivers, dispatch, operations teams, and warehouse team members to ensure accurate and timely movement of freight

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT & REQUIREMENTS:

• Work performed in a plant/production facility or outdoors; possible extreme heat/cold dependent on season
• Continuously requires ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Frequently requires walking, lifting (up to 50lbs), carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling (up to 200lbs), bending, and crouching
• Occasionally requires sitting, standing, fine dexterity, climbing and handling
• May require ability to operate machinery, drive vehicles (truck, car, van, tug, forklift) or use equipment such as hand tools, computers, or general business equipment
• CDL license or tug/forklift certification may be required
