Description
Job Overview:
This position involves supervising the receiving area and freight elevator, maintaining safety, orderliness, and cleanliness, verifying licenses, insurances, and permits of service providers and contractors through the management office, and enforcing parking regulations and Association rules. Good communication and customer service skills are essential.
Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure the receiving area office is never left unattended or unlocked.
- Keep the receiving area unblocked at all times.
- Schedule the freight elevator for residents moving in and out, adhering to Association Policy.
- Register all deliveries and packages (e.g., FedEx, UPS, DHL, registered mail).
- Report problems to the supervisor, including issues outside your scope of responsibility.
- Issue parking passes to approved vehicles.
- Register and distribute ID passes to contractors.
- Monitor the movement of service and repair contractors through logs.
- Complete required reports.
- Requisition materials, tools, and supplies needed for the job.
- Follow all safety precautions during work.
- Maintain a safe work area.
- Perform other duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Multilingual abilities are desirable.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs following safety procedures.
- Ability to stand for long periods, reach overhead, and have full mobility.
- Work in various positions and environments, including climbing ladders and working at heights.
- Repeat motions with hands and wrists.
- Lift, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs.
- Effective communication skills.
- Valid Florida driver’s license required.

Thursday - Monday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
