Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Receiver/Stocker to unload deliveries, stock shelves, and prepare backrooms for daily operations in a store setting. The role emphasizes safe lifting, physical activity, and teamwork to ensure a clean, safe shopping environment.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, verifying deliveries, operating pallet jacks and forklifts, and supporting store operations. The position may involve morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight shifts depending on store needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education.
• Experience operating forklift/power equipment preferred.
• Warehouse stocking/inventory handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projects.
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
• Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock prep, and using equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
• Operate store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed.
• Pitch in as a team player to complete other assigned tasks.
• For Pro Fulfillment Stores: use Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders; load delivery orders; rotate orders; communicate with customers; execute Delivery Readiness best practices.
