Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Receiver/Stocker to unload deliveries, stock merchandise, and keep the store organized for customers. The role is physical and fast-paced, requiring safe lifting and attention to detail.

Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight based on store needs. You’ll work with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment, ensuring a clean, safe environment and helping customers as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) is required.
• Experience operating forklift or other power equipment is preferred (3 months).
• Experience stocking or warehouse experience is a plus (6 months).

Responsibilities

• Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projects.
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
• Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock prep, and using equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
• Operate store equipment including scanners, Zebra devices, balers, and other tools as needed.
• Pitch in as a team player to complete other assigned tasks.
• Additional responsibilities for Pro Fulfillment Stores include: use the Orders App to pick and stage orders; load delivery orders; rotate orders by delivery date; resolve customer order issues; communicate with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction; execute Delivery Readiness practices.
