Job summary

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming merchandise and verify items against packing slips and orders.
• Stock products in designated dry storage, refrigerator, and freezer areas.
• Help maintain accurate and organized inventory.
• Keep storage areas and the loading dock clean, sanitary, and organized.
• Use designated food service computer systems as directed.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and PPE requirements.
• Support culinary and service teams as needed.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate potential shortages.

LINK Staffing is hiring a Receiver / Stock Utility professional for a temporary assignment in a fast-paced dining services environment in Houston, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone with receiving, stocking, inventory, warehouse, or food service support experience who is available to start quickly.

Job Details

• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Hours: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Assignment Length: Approximately 4 weeks, with possible extension

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Previous receiving, stocking, warehouse, inventory, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple deliveries in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, crouch, and reach.
• Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures, including refrigerators, freezers, and hot kitchen areas.
• Weekend or holiday availability may occasionally be required based on business needs.

This temporary assignment is expected to last approximately four weeks, with the possibility of an extension.
