Job summary

GreenGate Fresh LLLP is seeking a Receiver to enter all raw product commodities into NAV accurately and on time. The role serves as the primary contact for inbound shipments and reports to the Distribution Supervisor.

Responsibilities include daily inventory and holdover reporting, data reconciliation, and cross-functional communication with Production, QA, Ag Ops, Accounting and Sales. The position requires forklift experience and a High School diploma.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Receiver.
• Experience in receiving commodities/produce.
• Forklift driving experience.
• Proficient with NAV/Navision and Microsoft Office suite.
• Read, write and understand English; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter all raw product commodities into Navision accurately and timely.
• Serve as point of contact for inbound shipments.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, Ag Ops, Accounting and Sales on inventory and receiving status.
• Ensure accuracy of data and entries throughout the day.
• Train new Receivers and support supervisor.
• Analyze inventory and propose process improvements.
• Maintain safety policies and act on issues promptly.
• Work days, nights and weekends as required.

Summary

The Receiver is responsible for the timely and accurate entering of all raw product commodities into Navision (NAV). This person will serve as point of contact for all inbound shipments. This position reports to the Distribution Supervisor.

The Receiver is responsible for the timely and accurate entering of all raw product commodities into Navision (NAV). This person will serve as point of contact for all inbound shipments. This position reports to the Distribution Supervisor.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee all weight data collected within the receiving documentation requirements (pack out)
• Perform daily inventory of all raw product while creating holdover reports
• Perform daily hold over adjustments through inventory reports in NAV
• Responsible for reconciling entered data from Nav, Do Forms Field Tag, and Pack Out reports
• Responsible for daily communication with Production, QA, Ag Ops, Accounting, and Sales regarding inventory levels or receiving status
• Check all entries throughout the day for accuracy
• Assist Distribution Supervisor with training new Receivers
• Analyze and recommend inventory improvements and processes to increase inventory accuracy
• Maintain immediate supervisor informed of all problems or unusual matters and take prompt corrective action where necessary.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures related to all facets of the job

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office experience including Excel, Work, Outlook and Teams
• Previous knowledge and experience in receiving commodities/produce
• Prior work experience as a Forklift Driver
• At least two (2) years of experience as a Receiver
• Ability to use a weight scale

Education/ Licenses/Certification/Formal Training

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Spanish bilingual preferred

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged sitting and terminal use.
• May be required to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Hand dexterity and strength.

Work Environment

• Work performed outdoors and indoors a refrigerated warehouse/production environment (34 degrees F)
• May involve working outdoors in inclement weather
• May involve exposure to exhaust fumes and/or other chemical fumes such as Chlorine.
