Job summary

DFA is seeking an experienced milk tanker unloading operator in Wisconsin. This role handles pumping raw milk or cream from tanker trucks into storage tanks and records inventory with emphasis on product quality.

Only candidates with prior tanker unloading experience in the dairy industry will be considered. First and second shift positions are available; high school diploma preferred and GMP compliance required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CIP on each tanker and silo while maintaining proper documentation of each process.
• Gather samples of raw milk from tanker for testing of product.
• Weigh tanker on scales. Check to ensure proper temperature of milk and record weight and temperature reading.
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
• Follow all DFA GMPs and work in a manner consistent with corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.

GENERAL PURPOSE

Perform all duties related to the pumping of incoming raw milk or cream from the tanker trucks into the proper storage tanks. Document and record volume into inventory with a heavy emphasis on quality of product being received.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather samples of raw milk from tanker for testing of product
• Weigh tanker on scales. Check to ensure proper temperature of milk and record weight and temperature reading
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
