Job summary

Spec's Family Partners is seeking an on-site Receiving Associate to manage incoming shipments, verify deliveries, and stock store inventories. You will use an RF scanner to confirm PO and invoicing accuracy, ensure proper unloading of beer, and keep detailed logs for accounts payable and transfers.

The role requires lifting up to 100 pounds, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to safety regulations. Prior retail receiving experience is a plus, and attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail receiving or stock handling is preferred.
• Ability to read PO, invoices, and tasting calendars.
• Comfort with standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 100 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify contents of all shipments against POs, invoices, and tasting calendar using the RF scanner, unwrapping as needed to verify quantities.
• Receive all drop-shipped deliveries the day of arrival.
• Log invoices and transfers into the receiving log and send downtown on the next pickup.
• Maintain neat and orderly receiving and stock areas; assist in inventory processes.
• Assist in pulling and receiving transfers and complete paperwork as required.
