Job summary

Spenard Builders Supply, part of Builders FirstSource, is seeking a receiving clerk to manage daily receipts from vendor trucks and ensure accurate documentation. The role emphasizes inspecting shipments, logging discrepancies, and directing goods to storage.

Ideal candidates will perform duties accurately, follow safety procedures, and maintain dependable attendance. The position is on-site in Alaska with opportunities to contribute to efficient operations and customer service.

PURPOSE

Handles daily receipt of merchandise received from vendor trucks by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Examines shipment for defects and shortages against receiving documents.
• Records factors causing goods to be returned.
• Unloads and moves incoming shipments to storage.
• Forwards approved receiving documents to appropriate department for processing.
• Other duties as assigned.
