Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is hiring a Receiver for 1st shift in Shelby, OH. You will receive and track parts using RF systems, ensure quality and proper documentation, and support daily 6S activities in a safe, organized work area.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift 40 pounds. You will work in a factory environment with opportunities for training and career growth within a global company.

Qualifications

• State-approved Tool and Die Maker card or equivalent experience.
• Ability to verify quality of a product.
• Good organizational skills.
• Basic PC skills with WM familiarity.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds consistently.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive and track parts using the RF system.
• Ensure parts are not damaged and quality compliant.
• Complete material handling documentation (skid tags).
• Perform on-the-job training as needed.
• Maintain 6S: housekeeping, organized and safe work area.
• Overtime as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

As a Receiver , you’ll be part of our team located in Shelby, OH. You’ll get to: Responsibilities / Authority:

• • Correctly receive and track parts using the RF system.
• • Ensure parts have not incurred any shipping damage and are quality compliant.
• · Completing proper material handling documentation (i.e. skid tags).
• • Perform on-the-job training as needed.
• • Responsible for daily 6S activities, such as housekeeping, maintaining an organized and safe work area, and any appropriate paperwork/check sheets.
• • Demonstrate a commitment to working in a safety culture by working safely and correcting unsafe be conditions within assigned work area.
• • Work assigned overtime when necessary.
• • Other duties as assigned.
