Job summary

AVI Foodsystems, Inc. at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC seeks an energetic Receiver to join our campus food service team. You will assist in unloading deliveries, check quality, store items, and help locate ingredients for the kitchen and dining areas.

The role is full-time, requiring a reliable driver’s license, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. We offer competitive pay and benefits, plus opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading delivered supplies/items, checking the quality of goods and ensuring the expected items and their amounts are received.
• Properly store delivered items/supplies away
• Help other team members locate and grab ingredients/supplies as necessary
• Ensure that all kitchen/storage areas are kept clean, neat and well stocked
• Assist with utility tasks on sales floor and kitchen
• Assist the Production Manager with ordering and inventory
• Transport product and people to locations within the site
