Job summary

Nicholas & Company Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Receiver to join the Warehouse team. You will count inventory, receive shipments, and maintain a safe, organized receiving area while recording items in the system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills a must.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.

• Knowledge of safety procedures and adherence to safety regulations.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with team members and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in inventory counting processes and perform periodic audits.

• Verify quantity/quality of items against PO and packing list.

Receiver

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build a career with our Warehouse team as a Receiver. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures.

Schedule: Monday-Friday , rotating Saturdays. From 6:00 am - Until finished.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the inventory counting processes and perform periodic inventory audits.
• Receive and unload incoming shipments, inspecting for damages and discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate closely with the purchasing team to resolve any issues or discrepancies with received items.
• Verify the quantity and quality of items received, ensuring accuracy in comparison to purchase orders, and packing list.
• Organize and stage received merchandise in appropriate storage areas, ensuring proper placement and accessibility.
• Inspect and identify any defects or damages in received items, notifying the appropriate team members for further action.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize efficiency and ensure accurate and timely processing of received items.
• Accurately record received items in the inventory management system, entering information such as part numbers, quantities, and serial numbers.

Required:
