Job summary

Ya YA Foods is hiring a Warehouse Receiving Associate in Ogden, UT to receive shipments, inspect for damages, and sort stock for distribution. You will help move materials to production lines, monitor warehouse space, and assist with shipping as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in receiving or similar, and forklift experience. Candidates should be organized, able to multitask, meet deadlines, and follow GMP, safety, and company policies.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ year experience as a receiving driver or similar role.
• Strong organization, time management, prioritization and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments, check for damages, and sort stock for distribution in the warehouse.
• Monitor warehouse space and organize it as needed.
• Move material from warehouse to production lines and return on completion.
• Ship orders as needed.
• Observe all safety rules and GMP; comply with health, safety, environmental and company policies.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Pay: $21

Responsibilities:

• Receive shipments, check for damages, and sort stock for distribution in the warehouse.
• Monitor warehouse space and organize it when needed.
• Keep up with the movement of material in the warehouse.
• Bring material from warehouse to production lines and return on completion.
• Shipping out orders as needed.
• Observe all Safety rules and promote a safe working environment with team members.
• Maintain strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
• Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma
• 1+ years of experience as a receiving driver or similar position
• Skill in organization, analysis, time management, prioritization, and the ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasks.
• Skill in operating and handling forklifts (sit downs / stand ups), reach trucks or similar equipment.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and quality of support and service
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills to interact.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
