Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Reading, PA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive vendor purchases, inspect for damage, and manage shipping and documentation. The role includes processing RMAs and maintaining orderly operations to support production and customer service.

The position requires a high school diploma, ability to lift 35 lbs, and comfort with moving and unloading materials in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive vendor purchases in a timely, accurate manner, thoroughly inspect for damage, following documented receiving procedures.
  • Oversee system generation of receiving documentation and early/over shipment notifications for buyers.
  • Ship and/or pick parts in a safe, timely, and accurate manner to support production and shipping.
  • Complete paperwork accurately, including packing lists and stock requisitions.
  • Process Customer RMAs (Returns, Repairs & Calibrations) and notify appropriate personnel.
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks.

Job description

Receives vendor purchases and performs routine warehouse activities as assigned.


Roles & Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Receive vendor purchases in a timely, accurate manner, thoroughly inspect for damage, following documented receiving procedures.

  • Oversee system generation of:

  • Receiving documentation

  • Early or over shipment notification for buyers

  • Ship and/or pick parts in a safe, timely, and accurate manner, supporting production and/or shipping.

  • Complete paperwork accurately, including:

  • Packing lists, and

  • Stock requisitions

  • Process Customer RMA's (Returns, Repairs & Calibrations) and notification to appropriate personnel


6. Perform daily housekeeping tasks.
