ISS Guckenheimer is seeking a full-time team member for an hourly wage role on Mercer Island, WA. The position involves heavy customer service, inventory accuracy, and coordination of deliveries during a 6:00 am–2:30 pm schedule, with weekends as needed.

Ideal candidates are dependable with strong communication, have a valid driver's license, and may need forklift training. Bilingual applicants (English/Spanish) are a plus and a driver’s license is required.

Work Hours

The work hours for this position are approximately 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Mon - Fri + Weekends.

Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence

• Verify and keep accurate records on incoming orders
• Receives, lifts, moves, stores, issues, counts, sorts, weighs, and verifies items on requisitions or invoices
• Receives and processes a wider variety of incoming freight, including produce, meats, dairy, dry goods, chemicals, and other materials on a daily basis and according to priority
• Compares incoming products to bills of invoices, orders, or other records to verify information
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with vendors to rectify damages and shortages
• Orders Products using Net menu Platform and rotates stock to ensure freshness
• Prepares product for distribution, including transportation and storage
• Returns damaged items or other items to vendors that do not meet our specifications
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas by sweeping and mopping
• Complies with all HACCP/OSHA, and/ or local policies and procedures related to all assigned work
• Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments
• Drive company van and make deliveries
• Build relationships with delivery vendors

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
• Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code
• Employees must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
• Ability to remove garbage and transport to dumpster areas
• Proper lifting skills when handling stock
• Ability to load and push a cart long distances
