Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. in Kapaa, HI is seeking a full-time Receiver to coordinate shipping and receiving for all incoming deliveries and outgoing transfers.

You will ensure items are in good condition and perishable goods stay within temperature ranges; process invoices and Catapult purchase orders, and keep data integrity with Accounting. You will maintain the receiving area, organize the store, log shipments, perform temperature checks, reject damaged shipments, and help route items

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping and receiving operations preferred.
• Knowledge of handling perishable items and temperature controls.
• Ability to process invoices and purchase orders accurately.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize received goods into their store location and load outgoing goods into transportation vehicles.
• Maintain the Shipping and Receiving Log with complete data of products.
• Perform accurate temperature checks of perishable items and reject shipments above 41°F.
• Ensure perishable items are placed into correct coolers upon arrival.
• Reject shipments that are damaged.
• Ensure outgoing transfers have Lassens transfer plates with all required information.
• Organize items and ensure proper routing to departments and correct storage locations.

Salary Range: $19.00 To $24.25 Hourly

Summary: The Primary Receiver coordinatesshipping and receiving for all incoming deliveries and outgoing transfers,including products on the Lassen's Transportation Truck. Receiver must ensureproducts received are in good condition and, if perishable, within the correcttemperature range. Receivers are responsible for processing all invoices andCatapult purchase orders that are delivered to their location, and ensure thatData Integrity and Accounting receive the information when processed. Receivermust also keep the receiving area clean and organized, clear of trash and/orobstructions, and ensure shipment is expedited to the proper department in atimely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. 1. Manage and organize received goods into their storelocation, and load up departing goods into transportation vehicles.
2. 2.Maintains the Shipping and Receiving Log with complete data of products coming into the store.
3. 3.Takesaccurate temperature checks of perishable products as they arrive at theirstore location and rejects shipments that are above 41° F.
4. 3.1.Ensures that all accepted perishable items are placed into the correct cooler immediately upon arrival.
5. 4.Rejectsshipments that are damaged.
6. 5.Ensuresproducts arriving and leaving on the Lassen's Transportation Truck are properlyhandled:
   1. 5.1.Alloutgoing transfers have a Lassens transfer plate labeled with all requiredtransfer information.
   2. 5.2.Smallertransfers organized on the store’s Receiving Rack.
   3. 5.3.Alloutgoing transfers are accompanied with an itemized printout of the transfer worksheet.
   4. 5.4.Alloutgoing transfers are loaded onto the Lassens Transfer Truck.
   5. 5.5.All itemsbeing received into the store are directed to the correct departments.
   6. 5.6.Allperishable items are placed in the correct cooler upon arrival.
   7. 5.7.Receives andcommits all Inventory Transfer worksheets in Catapult.
7. 6.Distributesreceived goods to the correct department.
   1. 6.1.Placesitems in back-stock areas, as needed.
   2. 6.2.Ensuresthat products are stored a minimum of 6” off the floor.
   3. 6.3.Maintainsclear walkways while storing received products.
8. 7.Organizeand manage all invoices and Catapult purchase orders.
   1. 7.1.Locateinvoices for each shipment that is delivered.
   2. 7.2.Organizeand process all invoices and corresponding Catapult POs according to Lassensreceiving procedure.
   3. 7.3.Edits POsin Catapult accurate to how they are received noting all short, damaged, orextra items that were received.
   4. 7.4.Ensuresthat all completed invoices are scanned to Data Integrity and filed forAccounting.
9. 8.PrimaryReceiver will call upon another Shipping & Receiving Clerk or theappropriate department manager if assistance is needed with a shipment.
10. 9.Keepsreceiving area clean, clear, organized, and hazard free.
