Job summary

Curtis Lumber Co, Inc. is hiring a Receiver to receive and verify all incoming merchandise in our outdoor lumber yard. The role starts at 6:30am, full-time, with wages of $19–$21 per hour and annual raises based on performance.

You'll follow receiving procedures, operate a propane forklift safely, and assist customers while working outside in all weather. Benefits include comprehensive plans and profit sharing after a year.

Qualifications

Must be able to lift 50–80 lbs regularly.
Able to operate a propane forklift safely.
Wollows safe handling of materials and equipment in a yard environment.

Responsibilities

Receive and verify all incoming merchandise and materials into the facility.
Understand and follow receiving policy and procedure.
Ensure safe and proper use of equipment and materials.
Work outside year-round in the lumber yard.
Provide customer service and support when needed.

Our lumber yard is looking to find an experienced, hard working, and skilled Receiver to receive and verify all incoming merchandise and materials into the facility, this position works outside in our lumber yard.

Hourly Rate: $19 - $21 starting rate depending on experience! Annual performance based raises.

Full time 40+ hours per week - Start time 6:30am
Understand and follow receiving policy and procedure
Safe and proper use of equipment and materials
Work outside year-round
Customer service
Paid weekly on Fridays
Discretionary profit share after one year of employment
Six paid holidays and PTO Immediately
Must be able to lift 50-80lbs regularly and able to operate a propane forklift safely
Must wear PPE
Building material product knowledge a plus
