Job summary

Staffmark Group in Lexington, KY is seeking a Rebar Warehouse Worker to support loading, packing, shipping, receiving and inventory tasks. You will operate rebar machines, move materials, and help ensure orders are completed safely and accurately.

The position offers Monday through Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM at $18.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement. A high school diploma is preferred; prior warehouse or heavy labor experience is beneficial, and overhead

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.
• Previous machine operation experience preferred.
• Rebar, metal fabrication, construction, or heavy labor experience preferred.
• Overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Stable work history and resume required.

Responsibilities

• Load metal rods of various sizes into rebar machines to cut, bend, and form rebar to specifications.
• Move, organize, and stage raw materials and finished products throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks using an overhead crane when needed.
• Strap and bundle finished rebar products for storage and shipment.
• Verify correct sizes and quantities are processed according to work orders.
• Follow safety procedures while operating machinery and handling materials.
• Lift, carry, and move heavy materials throughout the shift.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Report equipment issues and safety concerns to management.
