Job summary

CRH is seeking a Rebar Team Leader to direct the steel department, ensuring engineered designs are fabricated from drawings to meet production demand.

You will read drawings, operate a rebar bender, shear cutter, and tie gun, supervise staff, train personnel, and maintain accurate inventory and safety records.

This non-exempt role reports to the Production Manager and offers competitive pay and benefits within Oldcastle Infrastructure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in steel reinforcement activities.
• Ability to read/write and comprehend simple instructions, memos.

Responsibilities

• Direct activities within the steel department to meet production demand.
• Read drawings and blueprints; ensure designs are fabricated per drawings.
• Operate rebar equipment (bender, shear cutter, tie gun).
• Conduct weekly cycle counts and maintain inventory records.
• Train and develop shop personnel on steel fabrication activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering to interpret drawing details.
