Job summary

White Cap is seeking a production-oriented worker to fabricate reinforcing steel (rebar) and prepare finished products for shipment in a hands-on environment. You will set up and operate fabrication equipment, inspect output, and ensure adherence to customer specifications and company standards.

The role involves indoor/outdoor work, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following strict safety procedures. A HS diploma or GED and related experience are preferred; forklift/crane certification may be

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in the area.
• Experience operating fabrication machinery.
• Forklift and/or overhead crane certification may be required.
• Use of PPE is required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates reinforcing steel (rebar) products according to work orders and tags.
• Sets up and safely operates rebar fabrication equipment.
• Stacks, bands, and stages materials according to production flow.
• Inspects finished materials for accuracy and conformance.
• Prepares completed products for shipment with protective materials.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area; follows safety policies.
• Performs duties indoors and outdoors as needed.
