Job summary

CMC is hiring for roles in its manufacturing and fabrication operations in Knoxville, TN. You will participate in training on applicable equipment, operate diverse fabrication machines and assist with loading, unloading, and material handling.

Work involves outdoor conditions, high safety standards, and potential overtime. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, with strong teamwork and communication essential to success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a heavy industrial environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and service manuals.
• Excellent communication in written and verbal form.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment.
• Operate fabrication machines and related equipment safely.
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.
• Crosstrain on multiple machines and operate rebar fabrication equipment (shears, benders, cranes, forklifts, threaders, welders, etc.).
