Job summary

QXO, Inc. is seeking a Rebar Estimator to prepare accurate material takeoffs, estimates, and quotations for reinforced concrete projects.

You will analyze drawings and bid documents, develop customer quotations, and collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Detailing, Production, and Operations teams to ensure timely, accurate proposals. Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in construction estimating, experience with reinforcing steel, and proficiency with OST/Bluebeam and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in construction estimating, rebar estimating, construction materials, or project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and construction drawings.
• Proficiency with OST, Bluebeam, ERP systems, and MS Office.
• Experience with reinforced concrete, rebar fabrication, etc., is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate material takeoffs, estimates, quotations, and project proposals from plans and bid documents.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for reinforcing steel and related construction materials.
• Analyze drawings to determine scope, materials, and cost implications.
• Develop complete customer quotations including descriptions, quantities, pricing, freight, and terms.
• Revise estimates based on addenda, design revisions, and customer changes.
• Meet bid deadlines while maintaining high estimating accuracy.
