Job summary

Farwest Steel Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented estimator to provide technical estimates of reinforcing steel for construction projects and prepare bids for customers. The role involves initial customer contact, bid follow-up, and collaboration with branch leadership.

Experience in rebar estimating, blueprint reading, and strong math skills are required, with preferred sales background. Standard shift is Mon-Fri, 7 AM–4 PM, and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Previous rebar shop, field, estimating, detailing, or office experience required.
• Previous Sales experience preferred.
• Computer skills and ability to learn programs related to reinforcing steel required.
• Should be experienced in the construction market and blueprint reading with strong mathematic skills.

Providing technical estimates based on bid documents and drawings. Provide initial customer contact in person or by phone for the purpose of quoting, negotiating, and writing orders.

Pay Range: $80,168.00 to $85,000.00 annually

DOShift:

Typically Monday-Friday 7 AM - 4 PM
