You will work with blueprints and coordinate with site teams to place, secure and inspect rebar while maintaining equipment and safety on the jobsite. This on-site role supports major construction and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and rebar placement plans to determine bar sizes, spacing, cover depths, and lap splice locations.
• Lay out rebar placement using chalk lines, measuring tapes, and rebar chairs to match specifications JobDescription.org.
• Cut, bend, and shape rebar to required lengths and configurations using manual or mechanical benders and cutters.
• Assemble rebar cages, mats, or chairs to maintain proper concrete cover and alignment www.jobed.ai.
• Place and secure rebar in forms using wire ties or mechanical fasteners, ensuring correct spacing and alignment
• Inspect rebar installations for compliance with engineering drawings, building codes, and safety standards before pouring .
• Collaborate with concrete workers, engineers, and site supervisors to coordinate pours and ensure quality .
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
