Job summary

Nucor Rebar Fabrication Northeast in Plainville, CT is seeking a Detailer/AutoCAD Drafter with rebar experience to detail commercial and civil projects. You will verify drawings, prepare bill of materials, and produce CAD drawings for delivery to field teams.

Responsibilities include applying safety standards, collaborating with engineers, field personnel, and A/E partners, and maintaining accurate documentation in the drawing tracking system.

Qualifications

• CAD detailing experience with rebar using CAD systems.
• Vocational CAD drafting certificate or equivalent.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• At least one year of experience detailing rebar using a CAD-based detailing system.
• Ability to work as a team and solve problems.
• Organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Detail commercial and civil rebar projects.
• Verify drawings, dates, specifications, addenda and other contractual information.
• Produce material lists and CAD drawings for submission.
• Enter all drawings into the drawing tracking system.
• Work with field personnel and A/E to resolve contract-document issues.
• Adhere to safety programs and company standards.
