Job summary

Altruist is seeking a Rebalancing Specialist to join the Rebalancer team within the Investment Product Group in Los Angeles. This hybrid role requires three days per week in Culver City.

You will optimize rebalancing, build AI-assisted responses for advisor inquiries, and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues and improve customer-facing guides. You will bring 3+ years in finance, experience with high-volume products, and a solid grasp of rebalancing concepts, SQL, and data-driven

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in finance, preferably in a product operations role.
• Experience working with product development teams on high-volume financial products.
• Familiarity with rebalancing and portfolio management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Be the resident expert on an optimization-based rebalancer.
• Build AI agents to craft precise, researched responses to advisor inquiries.
• Investigate customer-reported bugs with engineering and support.
• Create and improve onboarding and knowledge guides for the rebalancer.
• Monitor automated rebalancing from trade proposal ingestion to order execution.
• Analyze rebalancer performance to identify trends affecting client outcomes.
• Provide feedback to Product, Design, and Engineering during development cycles.
• Produce custom reports for financial advisors.
• Coordinate with Customer Success, Market Data, and Compliance on issues.
