ACE Recycling and Disposal in West Valley City, UT is seeking a Rear Load Garbage Truck Driver (CDL required). Start time is 6:00 a.m. with a starting pay of $24.00 per hour, DOE.

Responsibilities include safely operating a rear-load truck on assigned routes and providing excellent customer service. Applicants must hold a valid Class A or B CDL with airbrake endorsement, have at least 6 months of commercial driving experience, and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Class A or Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement.
• Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a mobile tablet to communicate with supervisor/Dispatch.
• Ability to follow safety and route protocols.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a rear-load garbage truck and complete assigned collection routes.
• Collect and transport waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Follow daily route schedules with a focus on safety, service, and efficiency.
• Communicate with Dispatch and Supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Interact with customers courteously and professionally.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.

• Due to our continued growth, ACE Recycling & Disposal isseeking Rear Load Drivers to join our team serving the Salt LakeCounty area.
• Rear Load Drivers are responsible for safely and efficientlycollecting waste and recycling on assigned routes while providingexceptional customer service.
• Safely operate a rear-load garbage truck and complete assignedcollection routes in a timely manner.
• Collect and transport waste and recyclable materials in accordancewith company policies and all applicable regulations.
• Follow daily route schedules while maintaining a strong commitmentto safety, service, and efficiency.
• Communicate and work closely with Dispatch and Supervisors toensure smooth daily operations.
• Interact with customers and the public in a courteous, respectful,and professional manner.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report anymaintenance or safety concerns.
• Start Time: 6:00 a.m.
• Starting Pay: $24.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).

Experience and Skills:

• Must hold a current Class A or Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement.
• Must have 6 months minimum of driving commercial vehicle experience.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to operate a mobile tablet to communicate withsupervisor or Dispatch (sending messages, attaching photos, concernson route interruptions)
• The ability to push, pull, sit, stand, walk, and other physicalrequirements as necessary to complete daily duties and responsibilities.
• Ace drivers are responsible for operating waste and recycle trucksin a safe manner. Our drivers must conduct all activities accordingto the delivery and collection schedule and all relevant company policies
• Ability to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner;ability to communicate effectively; and the ability to read andwrite to maintain daily records.
