Job summary

CorSource Technology Group in Portland, OR, is seeking a Realty Technician 2 contractor to support the Real Property Field Services team. This role involves office and field work, including overnight travel, across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and surrounding areas.

The assignment emphasizes data entry, file management, title review basics, and coordination with Realty Specialists to support project timelines and landowner communications.

Qualifications

• Professional knowledge of the principles, practices, techniques, and underlying concepts of Real Property Services.
• Knowledge of real estate documents including but not limited to: Warranty Deeds, Deeds of Trust, Mortgages, Quit Claim Deeds, Liens, property title reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide Land Use Applications, Stay Alive videos and miscellaneous literature to the general public, other governmental agencies and private industry.
• Open and prepare case files for closing transmittal after Realty Specialist has purged the file when case is complete. Verify and enter necessary data into LIS (Land Information System).
• Track and maintain case log of landowner requests for permit applications, encroachments and case status and update Land Information System (LIS).
• Answer real estate questions from the public including landowners, developers, public agencies, and utility companies regarding documented policy of proposed uses of the company’s rights-of-way.
• Receive application fees and process as appropriate.
• Property Research – review acquisition and property management documents to determine company’s rights.
• Draft and prepare basic Preliminary Title Review and Approval to Pay (945) form(s) for Realty Specialist to finalize.
• Travel to properties to take measurements and/or photos for documenting property management issues or damages.
• Provide acquisition support including research, reviewing documents, and correcting templates as necessary.
• Perform data entry on LIS as requested by Realty Specialist.
• Provide administrative support such as copying, mail delivery, faxing, report collation, and document assembly.
• Maintaining and managing multiple calendars which include setting up meetings and taking notes.
