US Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division, Fort Worth District, Real Estate Division, seeks a Lead Realty Specialist (GS-1170-12) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates under Direct Hire Authority for Real Estate personnel. This term appointment is NTE 13 months and may be extended up to eight years with DoD approval; recruitment incentives may be offered per funding and policy.

Position Overview/Duties

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for USACE for Real Estate Personnel to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a Lead Realty Specialist, GS-1170-12 position with USACE, Southwestern Division, Fort Worth District, Real Estate Division. This position may be filled in the following locations: Del Rio, TX, Eagle Pass, TX, McAllen, TX, or Fort Worth, TX.

Position may be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 13 months. Term appointments may be extended beyond of six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years. Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a Term Appointment will be appointed/converted into a Term Appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.
