Zusammenfassung

Room 8 Studio is seeking a motivated Realtime VFX Artist to create compelling real-time effects in Unreal Engine or Unity. You will work with a small, experienced team to design, build, and optimize visuals, focusing on particle systems, materials, shaders, and texture work.

Applicants should have strong 3D software skills (Maya/3ds Max/Blender), experience with UV mapping and basic animation, and a portfolio showcasing real-time VFX work. English at least intermediate (B1+).

Qualifikationen

• Experience in creating real-time VFX in Unreal Engine or Unity.
• Understanding of particle systems, materials, and shaders.
• Familiarity with 3D software such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender.
• Skills in 3D modeling, UV mapping, and basic animation.
• English language proficiency at Intermediate level or higher (B1+).
• Good understanding of composition, timing, movement, and color theory.
• A portfolio showcasing your real-time VFX work.

Superpowers you have are

You’re a rockstar if you have

• Experience with Houdini or other procedural tools;
• Basic understanding of VFX optimization for real-time environments;
• Experience working on game development projects.
