Job summary

Anduril Industries in Colorado is seeking a software engineer to design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for air and missile defense radar systems. You will work on real-time processing of data streams and multi-target tracking across dozens to hundreds of targets.

You will collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate solutions, optimize performance where milliseconds matter, and contribute to customer demonstrations and field tests.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's in CS/Engineering/Math/Physics or equivalent
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
• Solid foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics, and/or differential equations

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for air and missile threats, including multi-target tracking and data association
• Develop high-performance, real-time software that processes radar data and maintains tracks on dozens to hundreds of targets
• Build and use modeling/simulation environments to validate tracking performance and identify improvements
• Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate tracking into end-to-end defense systems
• Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments where milliseconds matter
• Communicate technical trade-offs to cross-functional teams and leadership
• Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests to ensure successful deployment
