Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking software engineers to design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for air and missile defense systems. You will develop high-performance real-time software that processes radar data and maintains tracks on dozens to hundreds of targets.

You will collaborate with radar engineers and system architects, optimize performance for milliseconds-critical environments, and participate in field tests to demonstrate deployment effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Strong foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics, or differential equations.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals: design patterns, testing, version control, debugging.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for air and missile threats, including multi-target tracking and fusion.
• Develop real-time software that processes radar data and maintains tracks on dozens to hundreds of targets.
• Build and simulate environments to validate tracking performance and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate tracking into defense systems.
• Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments where milliseconds matter.
• Communicate technical trade-offs to cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Participate in demonstrations and field tests to ensure deployment and effectiveness.
