Job summary

The State of Florida is seeking a qualified Court Reporter II in Starke, FL, responsible for stenographically recording court proceedings and producing accurate transcripts. Candidates must have an Associate’s degree or equivalent, experience in court reporting, and RPR certification.

Qualifications

• At least 225 words per minute stenographic writing accuracy.
• Registered Professional Reporter with NCRA membership.
• Four years of relevant experience in court reporting.

Responsibilities

• Stenographically record court proceedings and produce transcripts.
• Assist with training of other departmental personnel.
• Maintain stenograph notes for future transcription.

Stenographic writing at 225 words per minute

Excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling

Education
