Job summary

Vertex seeks an Real World Evidence (RWE) Manager to lead epidemiologic and observational research focusing on disease natural history and real-world outcomes for its pipeline. You will design studies, ensure scientific rigor, and manage external vendors while supporting Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory teams.

Responsibilities include developing research strategies, analyzing data sources, and communicating findings through publications and presentations.

Qualifications

• PhD (preferred) or MS/MPH in epidemiology, biostatistics, or health outcomes research.
• At least 2 years' experience in observational research within the life sciences industry or relevant academic/government settings.
