Apex Systems is seeking a Software Engineer-Vehicle Management to join our Berkeley, Missouri onsite team. This role implements, deploys and maintains software for vehicle management applications, partnering with cross-functional engineering teams to define requirements and integrate externally-generated functions.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with C/C++ and the SDLC, with preference for real-time or safety-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement, deploy, and maintain software for vehicle management applications.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to inform requirements.
• Develop vehicle management software and integrate externally-generated functions.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for validation.
• Perform verification, validation, and integration processes.
• Provide input on system-level design and architecture.
• Investigate and resolve software-related issues.
• Maintain software documentation and technical specs.
