Job summary

ADNET Systems, Inc. at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD seeks a Space Weather Analyst to join the M2M SWAO team. The role is full-time on-site, with seven-day coverage including day and evening hours, weekends, and holidays as needed to maintain 24-hour mission support.

The successful candidate will monitor solar activity in real time, collect and analyze observations, and employ advanced tools to assess implications for NASA’s human exploration and robotic missions.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency with 3 years of US residency
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 Investigation through NASA
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Engineering, Meteorology, Environmental Science, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Monitor the Sun’s activity in real time and document observations.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret space weather observations from NASA/NOAA missions.
• Use tools such as MHD simulations to characterize space environment.
• Assess impact of large-scale structures and solar energetic particle events.
• Troubleshoot models, maintain daily logs, and support briefings for mission personnel and external partners.
