Job summary

Amazon Leo for Government (ALG) is seeking engineers to design, build, and maintain foundational software extending Amazon Leo capabilities to U.S. Government customers.

You will develop new services for mission-critical space safety and sustainability applications, coordinating with external systems at scale. The role requires deep expertise in high-assurance, fault-tolerant software and proficiency in Rust, with collaboration across hardware, security, systems, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
• 1+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Utilize network layer packet processing experience and SDN to develop high data rate packet processing system and interfaces.
• Demonstrate interfaces and architectures in a simulated test environment.
• Solve complex technical problems related to the Amazon Leo constellation for Government customers.
