Job summary

You will work closely with FPGA-based processing pipelines, hardware engineers, and systems teams to deliver reliable real-time software for demanding mission requirements.

Applicants should have 5+ years in embedded development, experience with Linux/RTOS, and a secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of embedded software development in C/C++.
• Experience with embedded Linux, RTOS, or bare metal firmware.
• Design experience for real-time or high-reliability systems.
• Experience integrating software with FPGA-based hardware.
• Software-hardware debugging with logic analyzers, scopes or analyzers.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated tests and build systems.
• Familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART, LVDS and hardware abstraction layers.
• MATLAB or Python for algorithm development or data evaluation.
• Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or CS.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and test embedded software architectures interfacing with FPGA pipelines.
• Collaborate with hardware, RF, and systems engineers for robust on-orbit performance.
• Translate system requirements into reliable real-time software solutions.
• Support cross-domain hardware-software teams in verification and integration.
