SoCode Recruitment represents a medical-device company seeking a Robotics & Controls Software Engineer to build real-time control software for robotic systems. You will work across mechanical, electrical, systems, and clinical engineering to deliver dependable, safety-critical functionality.

The role emphasizes hands-on integration, debugging, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment with meaningful equity and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer/Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Advanced degree in robotics or controls is a plus.
Experience in safety-critical domains is a plus (medical, aerospace, automotive).
Software developed to IEC 62304 Class C with knowledge of ISO 14971 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Develop real-time robotic control software on a real-time OS.
Design and tune motion-control algorithms for complex electromechanical systems.
Integrate and debug software on robotic hardware in the lab.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, systems and clinical engineering teams.
Support system bring-up, characterization, troubleshooting and validation.
