Job summary

Reliable Robotics is building safety-enhancing aviation technology in Seattle. We seek a Radar Algorithms Engineer to analyze phased array radar systems, develop processing algorithms for tracking and imaging, and drive system-level requirements from concept to production.

You will implement algorithms in Matlab, Python, and C++ on target hardware, and collaborate across teams to ensure robust, certifiable radar performance. This role requires 8+ years in radar and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with radar algorithms, system design, signal processing, integration, and testing.
  • Proficiency with C++, Matlab, and Python (Python preferred).
  • Ability to troubleshoot, find root cause, and resolve issues.
  • Experience with pulsed and FMCW processing.
  • Experience in airborne radar testing and development.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze phased array radar systems and develop radar processing algorithms for tracking and imaging.
  • Drive system-level requirements and perform trade studies with cross-functional teams.
  • Support radar integration on aircraft and data collection during flight testing.
